What does NOR mean?

Notice of Readiness. A Notice of Readiness (NOR) is a crucial notification indicating that the vessel is prepared to commence charter service, commence loading or unloading cargo. This notification serves to inform charterers that the vessel is available for their use and initiates the calculation of hire or laytime.

When is the NOR announced?

This notice is being issued by the vessel to its charterer after being fully mobilized and prepared to sail to the charterer's intended port of call. The notice includes the announcement of an Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) at the intended port of call.

How long will it take to mobilise your vessel?

As a company, it takes SDNL 48hrs to 72hrs to mobilise. Depending on the nature of the operation

When do you commence mobilisation?

Mobilisation commences only after payment has been confirmed.

What does CPA mean?

Charter Party Agreement. This is a contract for the hire or lease of a vessel made between the vessel owner and a charterer.
